Successful commissioning of Paper Industry Wastewater Zero Discharge Project(30,000 tons/day)
During the production of epichlorohydrin, a large amount of wastewater will be produced, which has the characteristics of high salt content, high chloride radical and high hardness. At the same time, reverse osmosis devices need to operate under ultra-high pressure. This harsh operating condition also means that all the components of reverse osmosis devices have stricter technical requirements.
Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) membrane shell is one of the key components to withstand ultra-high pressure in the system. When choosing a brand, users take into account the R&D capability, manufacturing capability and historical application performance of the manufacturer.
A total of 406 membrane shells were used in the project, including 126 8-inch 7-core 1800psi membrane vessels and 280 8-inch 6-core 1200psi membrane vessels.
